The Life & Legacy of Deceaness Ollie Mosby Fuce.

On May 8th 1924 Ruben and Katie Mosby welcomed their sixth child into the  world  a petite little girl they named Ollie Mae. At an early age she joined and was baptized at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she continued to worship and serve her entire life until her health failed.

As a young girl she flourished and she received her formal education in the Marion County School System graduating from Howard Academy.  She continued her education at Florida Normal College in Saint Augustine earning a bachelor of arts degree in Elementary Education. She was employed as an elementary school teacher for 33 years in the Alachua and Marion County school systems.

She met and married Rufus Fuce, Sr. in 1959 a union that would last 56 years.  To this union they added a niece that they raised as a daughter Milynda and a son by adoption Rufus Jr.

Then 94 years and 97 days after her earthly story began God called her to her heavenly home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, 6 sisters and 1 brother.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Milynda Mercer; one devoted niece/caretaker Mary Walker, one great-niece/caretaker Dorothea Walker; One sister, Laura M. Moore; one brother  Ruben Mosby Jr. (Wanda), two sister in laws, Clareatha Jackson (Jimmie), Addie Fuce; two brother in laws, Joseph Fuce, Willie English, Two grand-children, and two great grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Public Viewing will be on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM til 6:00 PM. at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th St. Ocala, Florida.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 9225 SW 27th St. Ocala, Florida.

Dr. Fred Maeweathers, Sr. Pastor,  Final Interment will follow at Shady Grove Memorial Garden, Ocala, FL.
