Louis E. Tassinary, 88, of Ocala passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Louis was a native of Newtown, Connecticut. He was a veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was with the Army Security Agency stationed in Germany. Louis was a retired Facilities Engineer with the Sikorsky Aircraft Company. He traveled extensively through Europe and the Far East procuring machinery for building helicopters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, June of Ocala; son, Louis G. (Melanie) Tassinary of College Station, Texas; daughter, Ann (Alan) Ives of East Goshen, Connecticut; grandson, Christopher Ives of Connecticut; and granddaughter, Julie Ives of Seattle, Washington.
Louis and June have lived in Ocala for the past 30 years in the On Top of the World Community.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to your favorite charity.
