Elvis tribute concert benefiting Habitat for Humanity coming to Southeastern Livestock Pavilion

An Elvis tribute concert benefitting the Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is coming to the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion next month.

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County host the very first Elvis Rewind to 1955 Ocala concert series on Friday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion Auditorium Extension office (2232 NE Jacksonville Rd).

The concert will feature the talents of World Champion Elvis Tribute Artist Cote Deonath and the Double Trouble band.

In 1955, Elvis Presley performed at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion and was number 8 on the playbill. Many locals attended the concert, including Tom Petty, which is one of the reasons he got involved in the music industry.

The event will feature vintage 1950’s vehicles parked outside the Pavilion Lounge, and two different concerts will highlight Presley’s discography. There will also be a special appearance from Patsy Cline, starring Cindy Moody, on Friday at 6:30 p.m., and from Frank Sinatra, starring Bill Stabile, on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

Deonath has been singing since the age of three and has recently competed in and won numerous Elvis Tribute competitions.

All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Marion County. Tickets start at $15 for general seating up to $65 for Elite VIP. Elite VIP tickets include a meet & greet with the performers before the show, refreshments, a separate entrance, early entry, discount on merchandise, and a seat at a small round table (4 chairs per table).

Visit the Habitat for Humanity of Marion County website to purchase tickets.
