Kenneth W. Moehling peacefully passed away on his 81st birthday, January 13, 2021. He was born in Des Plaines, Illinois and resided in Arlington Heights and Mt Prospect, Illinois before moving to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. In 2013, Ken and Barb moved to Ocala, FL.
Kenneth married Barbara Jean Paul of Evanston, Illinois on February 24th, 1962. After graduating Main High School in 1957, Ken served Air National Guard 125th Air Refueling Wing for 6 years while he worked on a linotype machine for Paddock Publications of Arlington Heights. He then became a Heavy Equipment Operator as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers – Local 150, a career he remained in until his retirement in the year 2000.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Evelyn Moehling, sister Dolores Dase and infant grandson Mathew,
Ken will be greatly missed by his family, especially his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Barbara (nee Paul), and sons, Scott (Jan) and Glen (Susan) Moehling. Ken had 4 grandchildren, Marissa, Kyle, Kathryn, and Jessica and 3 great grandchildren, Lyla, Alison and Theodore.
A visitation is planned for Friday, January 22, from 5 O’clock PM until 8 O’clock PM at Roberts Funeral Home West Chapel located at 6241 SW SR-200, Ocala, Florida, 34476.
Ken’s Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 23rd at 10 O’clock AM preceded by a viewing beginning @ 9 O’clock at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5200 SW College Rd, Ocala, FL 34474.
