Ocala man banned from Walmart in 2019 arrested for trespassing

An Ocala man was recently forced to leave Walmart after an employee reported he has a trespass warning dating back to 2019.

On June 6, a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy in training responded to the Walmart store located at 9570 SW HWY 200.

A loss prevention officer reported 57-year-old David Whitlow was inside the store and was issued a trespass warning by the sheriff’s office prior to June 6. A deputy checked the records and confirmed Whitlow had been issued a “non-expiring” trespass warning on March 2, 2019, according to the sheriff’s report.

The deputy entered the building and located Whitlow near the sporting goods aisle.

Whitlow was arrested and charged with trespassing a structure or conveyance. He was transported to the Marion County Jail on June 6 where his bond was set at $1,000. He was released after posting bail.
