Lunch with the Archaeologist event returns to Fort King National Historic Park this week

A new Lunch with the Archaeologist event is being held at the Fort King National Historic Park this week.

On Thursday, March 17, an archaeologist from the Gulf Archaeology Resource Institute will lead the lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park located at 3925 E Fort King Street.

The event is free and open to the public. Pack a lunch, bring a lawn chair, and join the archeologist to talk about the artifacts that have been found on site at Fort King and throughout the state of Florida.
