Marion County Utilities has rescinded a planned precautionary boil water notice for 216 customers in the Pine Ridge and The Hunters Trace communities.
The notice was previously issued due to water distribution maintenance that included the replacement of two fire hydrants and the installation of a valve.
The water was deemed safe to drink after Marion County Utilities recorded the mandated number of successful bacteriological surveys. As a result, the boil water notice has been lifted for these communities.
Customers are being notified via door tag, emails, interactive community notification calls, media release, and social media.
