Thomas Gerald Dantzman

Thomas Gerald Dantzman, 88 years of age, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on June 26, 2022 at Ocala Regional Hospital, Ocala, Florida.

Thomas was born in Appleton, Wisconsin to George and Aurelia Dantzman on October 30, 1933. He went to high school at Bay View High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated in 1953. He went on to earn a certificate in Accounting from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He worked as a Supervisor for International Contract Administration for Bucyrus International Corporation for 27 years.

He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards especially Sheep’s Head and Pinochle. He enjoyed taking long walks, playing board games with his family. He was very involved at Saint John’s Catholic Church in South Milwaukee as a Eucharistic Minister, Finance Council Chair and cooked for the annual Parish Festival. He was also a dedicated servant for the Jaycees, the Lions Club and The Knights of Columbus. In Ocala he helped serve at the volunteer Fire Department pancake breakfast. Thomas is survived by his wife Charlotte Ruth Dantzman, Ocala, Florida.

He is also survived by his daughter Mary Beth Nehls, (Patrick), daughter Cheryl Collins, son Gregory Dantzman, (Deanna), son Thomas Edward Dantzman, and daughter Cathy Bruening (Joerg). Proud grandfather to Joseph (Jessica) Nehls, Courtney Nehls, Jessica (Garrett) Dishman, Kimberly (Matthew) Peth, Rebecca (Preston) Bowman, Zachary Dantzman and Olivia Dantzman, Audrey Bruening , Karl Aaron Bruening. Great- Grandfather to Margaux, Noah, Christopher, Bradley, Elanor and Laurelin. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Aurelia Dantzman, his sisters Joyce (John) Hyde, Betty (William) Hartmann, and son-in-law Cary Collins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 30th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 4047 NE 21st Street, Ocala, Florida 34470 with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at
11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church maintenance fund. Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations will be handling the funeral arrangements.

that our dear Tom is safely home with Our Lord.
