The City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department is inviting local fathers and their children to take part in a fun competition on Saturday, June 17.
The Father’s Day Challenge will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place, which is located at 1821 NW 21st Avenue. During the event, fathers and kids will team up to challenge other father-and-kid teams in a one-day tournament.
“Come prepared to play water games and enjoy the fun,” stated the recreation and parks department in a social media post. There is no cost to participate in the Father’s Day Challenge, but registration is required.
