Marion deputies looking for missing, endangered 76-year-old man

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered 76-year-old man who was last seen leaving his residence in Dunnellon on Thursday morning.

At around 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, John Carlisle was last seen leaving his home located in the 18700 block of SW 108th Street in Dunnellon. MCSO deputies believe that John left the residence on foot.

John is 5’9” tall, weighs 220 pounds, and he has blue eyes and gray hair. He has limited mobility and utilizes a cane to get around.

MCSO stated that John has heart-related issues and left without his required daily medications. Due to his current health conditions, law enforcement is concerned for his safety.
