On June 20th, 2023 Gabriella Lynn Alicea, 18, of Ocala, FL passed away unexpectedly. She was born Friday February 11, 2005 in Hampton, Virginia.
Gabriella walked the stage for her graduation on June 15th, 2023, she was looking forward to going to college to become a neonatal nurse. The entire family was extremely proud of her.
She had a mischievous smile that lit up any room that she walked into, that was loved by all. She loved art, poetry, hanging out with her friends and going to weekly car meets. She planned on one day owning a red Miata. More than anything she loved her family.
She is survived by her mother Deborah Smith, her bonus-father Joseph Nieves, older sisters Celina Smith and Isabella Alicea. Her maternal grandparents George and Patricia Smith, paternal grandmother Carmen Concepcion, paternal grandfather Raul Alicea. Aunt Jessica Alicea and Uncles Eric Polanco, Daniel Anderson and Gil Alicea and tons of other family and friends who love her and miss her terribly.
She is preceded in death by her father Raul Alicea, Aunt Erika Polanco and Uncle Edwin Anderson.
A Celebration of Life is being held Sunday July 23rd, 2023 at Baseline Trailhead Park at 1:30pm.
