Alphonso Lee Gordon, Sr.
October 3, 1963 – August 30, 2023
Alphonso “Al” Gordon was born on the 3rd of October 1963 to Ernest and Margie Gordon.
Al was a church going man that was kind and caring to all those he met. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, a great provider and an overall a great man. He loved his wife and children and grandchildren and his extended family. He had the kind of heart where he would help anyone in need without any complaints.
Al was a very quiet man who would listen with a big heart for everyone. He dedicated 22 years to serving in the army. While serving his country he was awarded several medals of honor. Al also dedicated close to 17 years with the Marion County sheriff’s department. He has touched so many hearts and was truly loved. He will be deeply missed.
He will be survived by his wife, daughter, son, mother, sister, brothers, and grandsons.
