Audrey Sue Woodard Baker
May 16, 1940 – December 11, 2023

On December 11, 2023, Audrey Sue Woodard Baker went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Audrey was born in Ocala, Florida to her parents Paul Monroe Woodard and Elsie Dott Howard Woodard. She loved her family and loved helping people when there was a need. She enjoyed sharing her faith and her testimony with her family and friends, praying for and visits from her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all other family members and friends. She enjoyed gardening and always had the most gorgeous yard. She could be seen in her yard almost daily and had lots of people stop to admire her flowers and handywork. She loved being outdoors. She enjoyed visiting the springs in Florida and swimming in the consistently cold water. She, most of all, loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter: Penny Reid Lancaster (Homer) of Bushnell, Florida and her son: Jerald Wendell Reid of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; grandchildren: Amy Sara Frizzell-Lancaster of Sneads, Florida, Loretta Edwards Spencer (Johnny) of Romney, West Virginia; Jessie Eugene “JJ” Woodard, III of Bushnell, Florida; Stephanie Sue Lancaster of North Fort Myers, Florida; Lindsay Lancaster Henry of Summerfield, Florida, Randy Reid of Baltimore, Maryland, Paula Jeane Reid (John), Homer “Ray” Lancaster, Jr. (Melinda) of Bushnell, Florida, Gina Toussaint (Alex) of Snellville, Georgia, and Jammie Lancaster Tucker (Michael) of Bushnell, Florida. She is also survived by her sister: Mary Rogers of Bushnell, Florida. She has 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, with one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her husband: William Dan Baker; her daughter: Judy Ann Reid Woodard (Jessie); her son: Paul Jay “PJ” Reid; one granddaughter: Alexandria Toussaint; her sisters: Elizabeth Simon and Alice Lovett; her brothers: Jessie Eugene Woodard and Robert “Bob” Howard Woodard; two nephews: Robert Leon “Treb” Woodard and Clyde Elbert “Bert” Lovett; one niece: Rhonda Mary Rogers and her parents: Paul and Elsie Dott Woodard. If she could leave one word with anyone, she would say: “Be ready to meet the Lord and do not delay as we are not promised tomorrow.”

A service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11 AM (visitation from 10-11 AM) at First Baptist Church of Bushnell, Florida with Pastor Daniel Richwine officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Hill Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
