A couple rang in the new year in Ocala by welcoming their daughter into the world.
At 12:37 a.m. on Monday, January, 1, Elianyz Jameelah Gonzalez Serrano was born at AdventHealth Ocala (1500 SW 1st Avenue).
The newborn’s parents, Genesis Serrano Torres and Edward Gonzalez Hernandez, were both overjoyed following their daughter’s birth. According to the hospital, Elianyz weighed 6 pounds and 4 ounces, and she measured 19 inches long.
In a press release, AdventHealth Ocala stated that mother and baby are both in excellent health and spirits following the delivery.
The hospital concluded the release by stating that its staff “extends warm congratulations to the Serrano Torres and Gonzalez Hernandez families on the arrival of their bundle of joy!”
