Due to the installation of a new gravity sewer main and water services connection, two road closures will be in effect for SW 16th Place and SW 16th Street in Ocala, beginning on Monday, January 22.
The road closures on SW 16th Place and SW 16th Street will remain in effect through Thursday, February 22. During construction, both roads will be closed to the public except for local residential access.
Construction will take place on Mondays through Fridays, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.
All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Residents will be directed through a utility easement at the end of SW 16th Place and SW 16th Street to SW 15th Street, which will redirect drivers back to SW 27th Avenue.
