Southeastern Pro Rodeo returns to Ocala next week

The Southeastern Pro Rodeo is set to return to Ocala next weekend for its 31st annual installment.

The two-day event will take place on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, which is located at 2200 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

The upcoming rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), and it will feature eight major events: breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, WPRA barrel racing, and bull riding.

Tickets are currently available for $25 for adults, and $15 for ages 6 through 11. Admission is free for children ages 5 and under. Parking at the event is also free.
