Ocala Spring Carnival to coincide with Marion County Schools spring break

The Ocala Spring Carnival will be held at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, March 14–17, which coincides with the first weekend of spring break for Marion County students.

The Ocala Spring Carnival, which will be held March 14–17 at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, promises to offer plenty of family fun with many different attractions. The carnival also will offer free parking and free entry.

This event promises to be fun and exciting for the entire family, with free parking and free entry. The festivities include family carnival rides, camel rides, pony rides, the Miss Spring Carnival Pageant, a cheerleading performance, a dance performance, arts and craft vendors, food and snack trucks, a karaoke contest (winners get $50), water balloon toss contests (winners get $20) and more.

There also will be live performances by Marilee Voth and Marco Coconut and the Coconuts.

“We want to continue bringing excitement and great events to this amazing community,” said Lisa Yeater, of Best Florida Fest, the promotion company bringing in the Ocala Spring Carnival.

Marilee Voth will perform two shows at next month’s Ocala Spring Carnival.

The carnival kicks off Thursday, March 14 (5-10 p.m.) with plenty of rides, camel rides, pony rides and vendors. It continues Friday from 5-10 p.m., with Voth taking the stage for her show at 6 p.m.

The carnival will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17. In addition to the regular attractions, Saturday’s schedule will include:

  • 10 a.m. – Voth performs;
  • Noon – Karaoke contest;
  • 2:45 p.m. – Dance performance;
  • 3:30 p.m. – Water balloon contest;
  • 4 p.m. – Cheerleading performance; and
  • 5 p.m. – Marco Coconut and the Coconuts take the stage.

Sunday also promises to be a busy day with several events planned:

  • Noon – Karaoke contest;
  • 2:30 p.m. – Water balloon toss contest;
  • 3 p.m. – Cheerleading performance; and
  • 4 p.m. – Miss Spring Carnival Pageant.
