Julia Escandon, 74, passed away April 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, on June 19, 1944, to Julio Paz and Celia Arriola. She was a homemaker and moved here from New York 14 years ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Escandon (Magdaleno Marmol); sons, Steve Escandon, Jesus Martinez; and nine grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Monday, April 8, 2019 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, FL, with Father Raul Valdez officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, New York. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
