Stella’s Modern Pantry is one of the many hidden gems in downtown Ocala.

Although the decor is quaint, bright, and inviting, you might miss Stella’s if you are walking too quickly down the street. Nestled along Broadway, the cafe doubles as a shop and features a bevy of artisanal products ranging from kitchen devices to wines and novelty gifts.

The menu at Stella’s includes a variety of pressed sandwiches, salads, cheese plates, and baked goods. Whereas many restaurants may bombard their customers with an endless list of options, Stella’s puts the focus on making a small variety of dishes the right way, with care and attention to detail.

In addition to sandwiches and salads, the restaurant features a variety of cheese and charcuterie platters, with many of the cheeses and ingredients used to prepare the foods available for purchase throughout the shop.

For drinks, the coffees, wines, and other speciality beverages available at Stella’s Modern Pantry are not your average, every-day items: The shop is filled with special wines, sparkling waters, coffees and juices from all over the world.
