Construction of a new Culver’s in southwest Ocala is nearing completion.
Crews have been working at a blistering pace to erect the fast food restaurant, which is located at 4836 SW College Road, next door to Bojangles.
Known for its ButterBurgers® and frozen custards, the restaurant chain currently operates over 800 independently owned locations across the United States, including one in The Villages.
The new Culver’s is located just across the street from a new CarMax that opened its doors earlier this year. It is in front of a new VA Clinic that is hoping to open this fall.
Culver’s is currently in the midst of opening up five new restaurants in Florida, which will take its total to over 80 in the sunshine state alone.
The restaurant joins a slate of others opening across all parts of the city of Ocala.
KFC is renovating a space formerly occupied by Pizza Hut in east Ocala.
Mellow Mushroom is erecting a new multi-story building in downtown Ocala that will house an additional restaurant and a rooftop bar.
Cantina Tex-Mex and Tequila is currently renovating a former bank in the downtown Ocala area as well.
Storming Crab opened a new seafood restaurant last month along SW Highway 200 in a location formerly occupied by Ruby Tuesday’s.
