Construction and repairs will cause temporary road and sidewalk closures in Marion County.
Throughout the day tomorrow, October 20, Miller Pipeline will be drilling under the roadway to make a sanitary sewer connection at SW 60th Avenue (between the intersections of SW 31st Street and SW 20th Street).
Hartman Civil Construction will be handling sidewalk repairs in Marion County. The following sidewalks will temporarily close through December 23:
- NE Jacksonville Road (between NE 24th Street and NE 35th Street)
- SW 90th Street (between SW 79th Terrace Road and SW Highway 200)
- Marion Oaks, Unit 2 (from Marion Oaks Manor to Marion Oaks Drive and from SW 43rd Court Road to Marion Oaks Boulevard)
- Silver Springs Shores, Unit 07 (from Pine Road to Midway Road and SE Maricamp Road to Bahia Road)
- Silver Springs Shores, Unit 16 (from Bahia Road to Spring Road and Bahia Road to Pine Road)
- Silver Springs Shores, Unit 19 (from SE 64th Avenue Road to Pine Road and SE 52nd Street to Hemlock Terrace Pass)
Barricades and signs will be used to direct traffic through the work zones. Drivers and pedestrians should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.
