To the Editor:
These people that throw trash out the window are everywhere in the United States. Yes, some do it because they don’t know any better (it’s a learned behavior or they need education). But I think most do it because they don’t want to dirty their cars up and there are no containers or places in vehicles to place unwanted items and trash.
To help, give them a bin, and lobby vehicle manufacturers to design and build a bin or place to put trash inside their vehicles (like we have trash cans in our houses). Then they will have a place to store trash other than out a window until they can dump it in a trash can at home or gas stations while filling up or charging their vehicles.
