(Update from the City of Ocala on August 26, 2022: The temporary road closure on NE 42nd Place, from the NE 27th Court intersection to the NE 30th Court intersection, has been postponed until a further date.)
Motorists in Ocala can expect a temporary road closure on NE 42nd Place, from the NE 27th Court intersection to the NE 30th Court intersection, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 29 through Monday, September 5.
Marion County Utilities’ contractor, Commercial Industrial Corp., will be modifying a manhole to operate in conjunction with a new lift station. Equipment and personnel will be in the county right-of-way.
On the affected dates, the work zone will be open to local traffic only.
Crew members will place barricades and signs to detour traffic around the work zones. Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
