Belleview seeks vendors, volunteers for Founder’s Day celebration on May 6

The City of Belleview’s annual Founder’s Day event will return in May, and the city is looking for local vendors and volunteers that would like to take part in the celebration.

Founder’s Day will be held on Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Lillian, which is located on SE Robinson Road. The family-friendly event celebrates the City of Belleview’s history, and this year’s festivities will include a variety of vendors, free crafts, food trucks, bounce houses, train and pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo, and more.

The event is free to attend and open to the public.

The city is currently accepting applications from local craft and business vendors that would like to participate in the upcoming event. Those who are interested can click here to view an application.

Additionally, the city is in need of volunteers who will lend a hand during one of the following shifts on May 6: Shift One (8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.), Shift Two (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), and Shift Three (1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Mikaela Schrickel via email (mschrickel@belleviewfl.org) or phone (352-233-2122).
