A school bus carrying three students was involved in a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Marion County.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., the Marion County school bus and a pickup truck collided on State Road 40 in Ocala, near the area of SW 76th Terrace, according to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report.
FHP stated that the damage to both vehicles was “minor.” No further details were provided regarding the cause of the accident.
The occupants of the school bus were not injured. According to the FHP report, the 41-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.
The names of the drivers involved in the accident were not released by the Florida Highway Patrol.
