‘Gross’ science exhibit at Discovery Center ends this weekend

There are only a few days left to check out the Discovery Center’s “Gross Out Science” exhibit before it ends on Saturday, August 26.

The exhibit explores the gross side of science by answering questions such as:

  • What is your blood made of?
  • How loud is a burp?
  • Can you identify animals by their poop?

In addition, visitors will learn about the world of creepy crawlies, gross smells, and stinky science.

“Gross Out Science” will remain on display through Saturday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Discovery Center, which is located at 701 NE Sanchez Avenue in Ocala.

General admission is $8 per person ($7 for veterans), and kids under the age of 3 get in for free.

For more information, visit the Discovery Center’s webpage or call 352-401-3900.
