A Walmart in Ocala was forced to close on Tuesday after a written bomb threat was found inside the store.
In a social media post, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated that the Walmart located at 34 Bahia Avenue in Ocala has been evacuated as deputies investigate a threatening note that was found on the wall in front of the women’s restroom.
Citizens are encouraged to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
The sheriff’s office stated that additional updates will be provided when the situation is resolved.
