A local organization is hosting a free produce giveaway later this month for seniors in Marion County.
On Wednesday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Marion Senior Services will host the event at Forest Community Center, which is located at 777 S Highway 314A in Ocklawaha.
During the one-hour giveaway, 50 packages of produce will be handed out to local seniors who are 60 years of age or older.
There will be a limit of one bag per person while supplies last.
