Several firefighters were dispatched to an intersection in Belleview on Monday morning after a pickup truck caught on fire.
According to Marion County Fire Rescue, multiple citizens had called 911 to report that a vehicle was on fire near the intersection of SE Babb Road and SE Magnolia Road.
Marion County Fire Rescue’s Belleview Engine #18 unit arrived at the intersection shortly before 11:30 a.m., and crews observed that approximately 50% of the pickup truck was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters quickly deployed a hose line and began attacking the flames.
MCFR stated that the vehicle fire was fully extinguished within four minutes.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the vehicle fire is currently unknown, according to MCFR.
