Silver Alert issued for missing 66-year-old woman last seen in Ocala

(UPDATE: On Tuesday, January 9, Betsy was found deceased by the Ocala Police Department. In a social media post, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated that no foul play is suspected.)

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 66-year-old woman who was last seen in northeast Ocala on Sunday.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, Betsy Reilly was last seen at her home in the Marion Pines Mobile Home Park located in the 2800 block of NE 49th Avenue in Ocala, according to MCSO.

Betsy Reilly, 66, is 5’7″ tall, she weighs approximately 117 pounds, and she has green eyes and gray hair.

Reilly left her residence wearing a multi-colored floral shirt, red pants, and gray shoes. The sheriff’s office states that Reilly then proceeded to drive away in a gray Ford Focus bearing Florida tag LHVT20. Her direction of travel is currently unknown.

Since Reilly has been diagnosed with multiple mental conditions, including early signs of Alzheimer’s, law enforcement is concerned for her safety.
