Ocala police are investigating a shooting that took place near a local gas station on Monday evening.
Ocala Police Department units were called at 6:44 p.m. on Monday, March 18, in reference to a shooting in the area of SW 5th Street and SW 27th Avenue, near a gas station.
Few details are publicly available, but witnesses claim to have seen two vehicles engaging in a road rage dispute leading up to a crash.
During the dispute, witnesses say they could hear gunshots being fired between the two vehicles.
