A vehicle’s window was broken out at the Southern Pig & Cattle restaurant in Ocala Sunday afternoon.
A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to the Southern Pig & Cattle located at 6105 SW Hwy. 200 in reference to a burglary, according to an MCSO incident report. The victim advised the officer that someone broke out the passenger side window of his 2003 Chevy Suburban, the report stated. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the shattered window on the vehicle and the victim realized his new pack of Newport cigarettes was missing. The pack of cigarettes were in the console, sitting out in the open, and were valued at $6.58.
