Ocala woman jailed after nasty love triangle attack following milk delivery

Dantajah Keys

An 18-year-old Ocala woman was arrested last week after she allegedly attacked her baby’s father’s girlfriend when the couple dropped off milk at her house.

The victim told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy that Dantajah Keys, of 6420 NW 62nd Terrace, ran outside her house, opened the car door where she was sitting and punched her several times in the face and head before her boyfriend broke up the skirmish. The deputy noted the victim had a swollen and bruised left eye, forehead and nose, a sheriff’s office report states.

The victim’s boyfriend said he was inside the home, talking to Keys’ grandmother, when he walked outside and saw Keys and the victim in the middle of the street, fighting on the ground.

Keys told the deputy she beat up the victim for being at her house because she didn’t want her there, the report says, adding that deputy didn’t see any marks or injuries on her.

Keys was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with battery. She was released on $1,000 bond and no court date has been set.
