Marion sheriff searching for bandit who ripped off generator from Belleview home

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a generator thief who recently targeted a Belleview residence.

The suspect pictured above is accused of stealing several other items from the home, located in the 11500 block of S.E. 92nd Court. He is shown on surveillance video pulling up in an older model red SUV and knocking on the door to see if anyone is at home. He then walked around the property, apparently to decide what to steal, before loading the portable generator in the back of his vehicle.
